Vehicle Description

For sale is my ’79 Z28 Camaro. It’s mostly a street car but has seen some bracket racing excluding the last 2 years. It has a .040 350 w/Eagle rotating assembly, forged pistons, file fit rings, 6in rods, Melling high volume oil pump, 6qt oil pan, Dart Iron Eagle heads (2.08/1.60 SS valves), Lunati Voo Doo hydraulic cam, Crane gold roller rocker arms (1.5/1.6) with stud girdle, Victor Jr. intake, Proform 750dp carb, MSD distributor/6al ignition, headers to 3in exhaust.

Transmission is th350 w/approximate 3800 Boss Hogg stall (in car when purchased), also has line lock.

Rear is 10 bolt 8.5 w/Auburn limited slip and Richmond 4.56 gears, Moser axles (tubes welded), sub-frame connectors and Cal-Tracs along with extra long wheel studs. Balanced driveshaft with solid Spicer u-joints.

Battery located in the trunk, Moroso trick front springs, adjustable front and rear shocks.

Paint is ok but was done by previous owner approximately 8-9 years before I purchased. Even though it’s shop kept, paint is showing some thinning on top but still has coverage. Body is ok but has usual door dings. Fiberglass cowl hood and Centerline Convo Pro wheels.
Decent interior, all there but could use a freshening but presentable. B&M Mega Shifter. Has an Edelbrock adjustable NOS (50/75/100). Since motor rebuild 5 years ago, it’s had one bottle through the motor with no more than the 50hp shot. It has a full bottle in it now that’s never been used.

After rebuild, at the engine builder’s recommendation, it’s only seen Valvoline VR1 racing oil (20-50) along with zinc additive twice to protect the camshaft. It’s never used a drop of oil. Basically maintenance free and runs strong.

All floor pans are rust free. All lights work as they should.
Car has been well taken care of. Far from perfect but looks and sounds good on cruise night and a lot of fun to drive. Clear Texas title in hand. Just renewed registration today. Thanks for looking and please feel free to contact me with any questions. I will accept cash and bank to bank wire transfer only.

I’m selling only to get back to what I had as a first car, ’57 Chevrolet, otherwise I wouldn’t even consider letting it go. Please message me through this site.
